Normally vlc media player load subtitles automatically, you don’t need to add subtitle
Step 1 » First download subtitles.
Websites for downloading subtitles:
- http://www.moviesubtitles.org/
- http://www.subtitlesource.org/
- http://www.subscene.com/
- http://www.divxsubtitles.net/
- http://subs4free.com/
- http://subsmax.com/
- http://www.download.hr/subtitles.html
- http://www.addic7ed.com/
- http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search
Step 3 » Next; rename the subtitle file with exactly the same name as your video file. So you have two files such as;
[Ayn] Santhosh Subramaniyam (2008)[Tamil].mp4 and
[Ayn] Santhosh Subramaniyam (2008)[Tamil].sub.
Step 4 » Now you can play your video in VLC Player and you should see subtitles appear over your video. That’s all.
