Resize and shrink video using VLC media player

Step 1 » Open vlc media player and click on media tab. Under the sub-menu of media tab click on the “convert/save…” option.

Step 2 » Click on "Add... " (push button) in "Open Media"

Step 3 » Select any one file and click on "Open” button

Step 4 » click on "Convert / Save” button in "Open Media"

Step 5 » Then click on Browse button on the next screen to select the target file.

Step 6 » Select the destination folder and type the name with desired extension like .ps, .ts, .mpg, .ogg, .asf, .mp4, .mov, .wav, .raw, .flv, .webm extensions. Then click save button.

 

Step 7 » click on "Settings" button [].

Step 8 » Then click “Video codec” tab and change the value of width and height. Here i will choose 1200x900 size. And click "Save” button.

Step 9 » Then click on start button

Step 10 » Finally you see the streaming in your vlc media player.

Step 11 » After completing the streaming you will get saved file in the destination folder.
